Director General of Earth Science Institute of Slovak Academy of Science v.v.i. (ESI SAS) put up a post for a competition for a scientific worker in the Department of Atmospheric physics of ESI SAS.
Specification of work contract: fix term ful time contract, work location – Bratislava, SK
Salary: salary range according to the provisions in force and working experience according to the act of parliament nb. 318/2018.
Requirements on candidate:
– University Education + PhD with specialization in meteorology and climatology, environmental physics or physical geography focused on atmospheric processes
– 5 years of exerience in the respective field
– Scientific research praxis in branch: 5 years (by counting period preferably after getting the PhD) in description, analysis and modelling of atmospheric processes and climate
– documented self-active scientific work, including publishing in scientific jornals
– expected cooperation on problems in regional and local climate analysis within
SmartTajch project
– good level of English
